1.) She saw a left ear and knew that I had been listening to the enemy, who was currently speaking loudly in my life.
2.) She also saw old-fashioned glass milk bottles formed into the shape of a cross, but they were empty.
This insight the Lord gave to her on my behalf was prophetic. Unbeknownst to her, over the past two months I had been bombarded with a spirit of doubt that relentlessly whispered into my “left” ear. All throughout the day and into the night, doubt, would harass my mind.
I’m a firm believer of what the Word of God says on how to combat this, which is found in 2 Corinthians 10:5
“We cast down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and we take CAPTIVE EVERY THOUGHT to make it obedient to Christ.”
These past two months, I had failed to take the spirit of doubt captive from harassing me (through my thought patterns) and make it surrender to Christ.
Instead of being proactive in the fight, the result landed me as empty as those old fashioned milk bottles.
But here’s where it gets interesting; A completely different woman texted me on July 24th and mentioned that the Lord had put me heavily on her heart so she committed to pray for me. While she prayed, she got a vision.
She saw me hooked up to an IV and I was being FILLED BACK UP WITH FLUIDS that were glistening with the Truth and God’s word. She said the IV had to be a continuous stream but I would be completely filled by those two things.
I reached out to the first woman who had visions of the ear and empty bottles and asked if she happened to write the date of when God showed it to her? Sure enough, in God-like fashion, He also gave her that vision on July 24th. The same exact day He showed the second woman the vision of how I will be filled back to fullness.
If you want to know why I’m so in love with the Lord; It’s personal, unexplainable encounters like this that can take the hardest of hearts and melt them into a puddle of liquid love. A relationship with the Lord is undeniably the most fascinating treasure hunt. We get to participate in putting together the clues in order to find Him (Jeremiah 33:3). But if either one of those women felt ashamed or embarrassed to tell me what God showed them (or they struggled with doubt), I would have missed finding the treasure.
Oh, and the key to opening the treasure box is always, FAITH!
